As they say, the hardest part is getting started. Isn't that the truth! Why don't we crack this off with a little bio:
My name is Ariel Marie, I'm currently a freelance artist personally and also through MAC. I graduated from Cinema Makeup School in 2010, obtaining my Master of Makeup and Digital FX certificate. Based out of Central Cali, I travel around the area doing weddings, proms, makeovers, and monsters. Yes, I said monsters.
Now, I see makeup in a different light than most people. To me it's not about the brand names or "makeup is for girly girls". I view it as this: every face is like a finger print, each one is different from the next. Makeup is an art, and the concept is to work from the natural beauty of the face. Everyone's face is bloody beautiful, I don't care what you say. Embrace what you have because it's who you are, nobody has your exact face. When you learn to not be so harsh on "imperfections" (by the way, I hate that word) and learn to love your natural beauty, applying makeup will be not a necessity. Makeup, again, is an art, and should be a fun option to use your beautiful face as a canvas to create different looks, whether it's just evening out skintone or doing a dark, sultry eyeshadow.
There you have it! It's a mini rant, but I just want to give an insight to my mind. I hope by creating this blog, I will teach what I know, and learn more! You can never stop learning, that's for sure! I've been a bit of a troll for the past, oh I don't know...two years? Haha! Going through youtubes, blogspots, facebooks, but never creating my own. Well, here I am, guys! I hope to give many makeup tutorials, reviews on products, and maybe a little jibber jabber. Now...time to party and do some makeup!
